Owners of Silver Creek Farm, Eddie & Rebecca Monhollon, strive to find the finest of Rocky Mountain horses, Kentucky Mountain horses all in the gaited horse class and so far we have certainly succeeded in this endeavor by finding and purchasing first rate top class, the best bloodlines available in the Rocky Mountain equine category. Silver Creek Farm has had numerous Champion Rocky Mountain horses from the time that we first became proud owners of this excellent breed of horses - The Mountain Horse. We became involved with Mountain Horses in 2000 with our first purchase of a beautiful chocolate white main and tail horse we named Comanchero. Little did we know that this horse would set us on a course for breeding and showing these wonderful horses which by the way can be both wonderful trail or show horses. We quickly discovered that the Mountain Horse is an exciting show horse, a sturdy trail horse and an exceptionally versatile all around horse. The mares are gentle and exceptional mothers. The stallions are gentle and easy to handle. We had a vision to breed for the famous chocolate with a white main and tail color, and to produce the best show horses. This vision was started when we bred a chocolate mare to Choco Dock to get our stallion Silver Creek Magnum Silver. Then we purchased Ace of Spades a black stallion with long Mountain Horse blood lines. We certainly have had success in both these areas. Silver Creek Farm has had numerous champions in under saddle divisions and conformation classes. Now we are breeding champion mares and proven winners to Ace of Spades and Silver Creek Magnum Silver. Foals are due in the spring from both stallions. Ace of Spades and Magnum are now home at Silver Creek Farms. United Mountain Horse has recently inducted Ace of Spades into the Hall of Fame. He is now one of only 5 horses to achieve this honor. We certainly think this puts Silver Creek Farm as one of the best breeders of Top Quality Rocky Mountain Horses and Kentucky Mountain Horses.
